I remember first hearing this song and it really stuck out from the rest of the album. Much of the other stuff is more pop- and mainstream oriented, but this is the song where they take the time to get really serious and talk about the darkness and heaviness that surrounds their lives. I think the line "a thousand cigarettes won't change the way we feel" is one of my favorites...out of everything I've heard from them, this song has the strongest and the most genuine feeling, and I really like that.
