You are right. Just add in that the world in Anthem has no individuality. Instead of names, people have numbers that assign them to their "place" in society. People do as their told told and everybody must think not about themselves, but what they do for society.

The song is basically the same. The person discovers a guitar and that he can play music which is enjoyable to him. But the priests (of the Temples of Syrinx) decide that this does not benefit society and should be banned. And that they knew about the guitar/music...
