I agree that it's about living live to the fullest, but I think maybe it's more about how he's been living life the the fullest, doing everything he'd ever wished to do, but perhaps constantly running (ie. like a burning man would run) from committments & responsibilites & relationships . But maybe he's finally found someone he'd like to keep in his life, but he's not sure if it would grow to be anything so he says, "Hold me down, I want to find out." He's asking for their help to keep him stationary long enough to try. That's my 2¢ anyway. ~PaIgE~
