I don't think it's a sad love song. It's sort of a content, happy song. They're a couple that's been together so long that they can communicate even without talking. Plus, it has lines in it about how "other people were too sentimental. Always worrying about their hair." In other words, no one else can make them feel as happy as each other. And "another first kiss" means that every kiss is like the first one. shrugs I think it's cute, at least
