i always call this the "nintendo song," because the beginning reminds me of an old video game. it's strange how the song is either lamenting a love lost, or trying to persuade that person to come back, but it's so upbeat. i guess it can be happily reflecting on the relationship or its uniqueness. it's an adorable song and it's one of my most favorites.
