k tenserock, i've considered it. and i have to admit that in some ways you are right. yes, i definently think that there are many people who could do a better job than Bush and his dad. BUT Gore was NOT one of them. If you ask me, Gore is a bigger idiot than Bush. ok, second, you cannot tell me that I will never be rich. ANYONE who works hard enough and wants it bad enough, will get what they're working for. yes, some people are born with more advantages and some with less. but that only means that they have to work a little harder. It is not our fault how nature works. Third, just because someone makes more money does not mean that they should pay more taxes. My parents started a small business around five years ago. I have watched my dad work 80 to 90 hour weeks ever since i can remember. Now that we are comfortable (notice I am NOT rich) we are up to our asses in taxes that we cannot afford. You cannot tell me that is fair. It only shows me that the government has screwed us over with the inflatable tax rates. wanna know a great fact? 90% oof the nations income tax is paid by less than the top 10% of the wealthy. Why should they fork the bill? Just because they worked harder than everyone else? If you're gonna nit-pick and choose the ones that didn't work as hard, then we should also waste our time finding the people on welfare who soak up our tax money when they don't need it. JUST THINK ABOUT THAT
oh yeah, and we might have to sell our business, sell our house, and my dad will have to go back to his 90 hour work weeks. all because of extreme taxes. now tell me, why is that right?
