"the brilliance of man"? what a bunch of BS. man is not brilliant. arrogant, yes, and stubborn. but not brilliant. stupid as hell. and i think the greatest arrogance of all is thinking that God is something that would change in this physical world....he's the eternal he's the only that doesn't change.
but like a lot of david's other sarcastic songs, i think this song is good but the direct opposite is not the complete truth, or in the case of this song, the ideas expressed in this song aren't near as much the enemy as are those who don't think our perception of God should change back to what it was before idiots twisted Him into a pathetic petty vindictive childish whiner whose feelings get hurt by us mean mean people.
