i love the line 'dream i never know anyone at the party and i'm always the host' cos, to me, it means how when more people arrive at a party or anywhere u find it harder to talk, i find it easier to talk to people one on one. to adam it could mean anything, maybe that everyone knows him because he is famous, but he doesnt know any of the people that know him, maybe the 'party' is when adam plays live shows, it makes sense but im just guessing.
