well i know this site is for telling people what a song means to you. so if you feel differently, well, i can understand that, because im sure no one feels the exact same way about anything. to me, this song is simply about someone who has been led on. something i can relate to. the thing is, you'd rather someone be honest with you, than lie and just string you along. it just means that you'll waste more time with that person, time you could have spent getting over them. the person in this song is upset because they probably promised themself they wouldn't let anyone hurt them again, but of course, they did.
