i think that this is about a guy who was writing very emotional heartfelt songs for a girl and when he showed them to her she didnt really care and now he decided that she isnt worth it if shes going to be soo insensitive and that he has put up with too much crap and now he will beat the thoughts of her to death or in other words forget about her
