Personally I this song is about a person who sees the injustices being served to another person, a person she cares about dearly. This song affects me a lot, mainly because I've been in love with my best friend for a while, and eventually he found out, and it just hurts that we never ended up the way I had thought it would, he's just not ready for that. He told me "you and I have a connection with each other that other people won't even have with either of us" yet I know that if he had wanted, I would have been good enough for him. I guess life doesn't always work out for us, huh? =(
