It could be about how his father thinks he won't ammount to anything if he stays in a band whereas Chino is saying he loves to play and make music and that's he'll always do. I love the title...it's kinda weird...maybe he wants his father to see how creative he is and not be blind (minus/without a blindfold) towards Chino's talents.
