I agree with Pharmacopia about the girlfriend thing but I heard what happened was she asked him why he never wrote any songs about her or their love. So he thought about it and then had a dream about killing his girlfriend then having sex with the dead body. He told her about this dream and to say the least, she wasn't very happy about it. Then he wrote the song based on the dream he had.
