Uh... Forevergreen, I don't hear any similarities between LP and the Backstreet boys. Yes, LP hit it big time, and everyone and their brother is buying their records. Like Acetica said, they have mixed several different types of genres into one group. Electronica, Rock, Alternative ect...(A "Hybrid" of music) That is why it appeals to so many people. But one thing I don't understand is why everyone is calling them the Backstreet Boys of rock. There are a some major differences here. BSB was a manufactured group to appeal to the young demographic. LP was not manufactured, they had to work for their fame. BSB is a group that sings to a track. LP is a band. They perform their own music, not sing to a track.
