This is one of the view "love songs" manson has actually written...and even then it's not really a love song. I think it symbolizes the collapse of everything and prehaps two people who were seperated yet their love for eachother still holds true...and that no matter what may happen they'll always stay together even in spirit. This could be the meaning...but i have no idea. I think it also talks about the collapse of the one of the "lovers"....and how now that he's finally found his love his world is falling into a decadent spiral to which is will soon die... Maybe i'm wrong...that's just my opinion

Yes, i agree. "Yesterday was a million yrs ago" He misses what he had with that person and he cant bare being without it. "Last Day On Earth" is possibly exaggerating, the world is over now that hes without this woman. "We'll never say goodbye" is his way of saying he will never forget..

@RayvinFae I think the song itself is a concept. Yes he is conveying his feelings for someone, but he is using a scenario to show it. The scenario he uses ties in with the world of Mechanical Animals (the world the album speaks of is corrupt, so it is assumed that it will end). When the world finally ends. The two lovers are separated, but their love stays. So I would have to say that it has to do with the actual world ending and not his world ending. This would make sense because it would tie in to the...
