Sheesh! Everything's about dope for Pantera.
Even so, this is probably one of the best songs ever written. The desperation and helplesness is thick and palpable. It's great to listen to this song during one of your lows when you just want to give in to self-pity.
Lines like "Would you look at me now/Can you tell I'm a man?/With these scars on my wrist/To prove I'll try again/Try to die again" work like magic even for those who don't use cocaine.
This is probably Pantera's best slow song.. And yes most of the time its about dope. But at the time Phil was so Doped up it didn't matter. Cause this was one of the best songs he wrote with Pantera even though the whole album was cut without him in the same studio. This song was clearly wrote about his brush with death, his OD while on tour.. How this fucked him..

@noisicus If there is one good thing about Heroin it is the music it caused. I know that is technically on oxymoron in itself, there is NOTHING good about heroin. However, if you were to take almost any great piece of music(at least before the late 2000s early teens) and really dig deep into the ingredients list you will find an opiate rearing it's ugly head. Nirvana, Megadeth, Soundgarden, STP, Guns N Roses, Pantera, Aerosmith, Rolling Stones, Miles Davis, Ray Charles, Hendrix, Joplin, there's too many. It would probably be easier to list the musicians not affected by it.
