I've always wondered: was this song written for a soundtrack to a movie? And if so, which? Because I really have no clue unless they just decided to release it on its own instead of putting it on Adore.
@Croc "Eye" was released as a single, and also on the soundtrack for David Lynch's 1997 film Lost Highway. Here's the Wikipedia entry for the song, which includes this bit of info: "Corgan later said the surprise success of Eye' as a single inspired the band to continue with the new electronica-tinged direction as they began work on Adore." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eye_(song)
