This song made me think of a rule I heard girls should follow--if a guy asks you out on a Friday, it's because he has been distracted by his work only to realize there are 2 days in a row (the weekend) where he'll have no where to be. A guy like that knows "it's another world at night." I'd say wait for a guy who ask you out on Tuesday, say. Then you know they are thinking of you all week, not just when they're lonely. Unless of course you only think of them when you're lonely, in which case, "you win, I win, we lose." It's just really sad that people aren't taught how to get along and really extend themselves outside of how it suits their own wants. That's what causes loneliness--the "what's in it for me" attitude towards relationships. It doesn't have to be that way.
