Like most In Flames songs... while extremely poetic, the lyrics can sometimes be confusing. Although I have never actually read the story of David and Goliath, the main story of it is that the weaker man, David, ended up slaying the huge, strong man, Goliath. Judging by the title of the song, and the last few lines, to me this song is talking about today's world being run by the most powerful. Such as the United States being the bully of the world, and large corporations and CEO's as the goliaths. There is no room for the Davids, the weaker ones, to make a stand.
