Fell into this hole, ie. we were born by chance, there is no hope in death ("and the exit sign offers no light to see by"). This is existential philosophy, with influences like Nietzsche, Camus, and Sartre. There is no hope in death, but just find hope in life "adjust the aperture to focus on the negative..."). In the end, though, our mind is always subject to death, there is a hole in the world.
