I always thought it was amazing how it could be such an energetic, almost bouncy song, and yet the lyrics conjure such sad images. "even the most beautiful of all roses must someday crumble to dust and fade away. It's certain tragedy" I think that line is my outlook on life. It's so depressing, and yet when I hear it sung it's turned around. Almost uplifting.
