However, the writer also is making fun of himself a little bit; he knows he's nothing more than a sensitive artist, nothing close to a badass; yet sometimes he kind of wishes he could be one, too. If you note the line "so write another song about bashing someone's head in", and you know the line "I think I'm gonna bash his head in" from Stroke 9's "Little Black Backpack", you understand how he's mocking himself a little bit.
