I'm not so sure if the last part is right, that's what it sounds like to me.
I love this song, which is hidden after Opiate. I'm surprised no one put it up before, because I think that it's one of the most important songs that Tool has done. Important in respects as to what Tool is about.
It's mainly about the stupid things that people can do while under the influence of drugs. I love the part where he starts saying "Satan," it's just so in your face saying this is what drugs are, which I totally agree with. The last part, "getting bored," I think is Maynards reason as to why some people use drugs. People are getting bored with life because of what it has become; totally devoid of meaning for generation-X (I hate to be called that), sometimes. I think the "more" that he is referring to is the 3rd eye that can come from drug use. It allows us to see that there is more to life than money, drugs, cars, clothes, sex, or anything tangible.
I think this song is pretty straight forward, especially for Tool, but if anyone thinks there is a different meaning then please let me know.
Not really right about the drug thing because Tool has used and is presumably still using hallucinogens like DMT nowadays which is not damaging, and helps them create such amazing music. So i doubt they are saying they are bad. They are just describing stories in a funny song that parodies subliminal messages and hidden songs, i.e. "satan"
