I can really relate to this song sometimes when my best friend and I aren't getting along, like now. For awhile, I thought our friendship was going to end, and I kept thinking about this song, and how, even if things didn't work out now, that we could find each other later in life to catch up on old times. It's so hard to say goodbye to people you love, though, even if you know it's for the best. This song really sums up that emotion, I think. The two may part, but things aren't over yet, and it offers a shard of hope for a reconciliation in the future. Definately one of my favorite Simple Plan songs.
