The fact that Relient K makes direct references to Jesus or God in many of their songs (like Softer To Me, Less Is More, The Rest Is Up To You), and have made no attempt to hide the faith in God that they all have, leads me to believe that this song IS about Jesus and the great love between the writer of this song and his Savior. Also, I've felt this same way about God, and could tell by the first listen that this song is about God and His never-ending, unconditional, saving love.
