well, that first part of the song seems to mean he feels like he wants to be alone but somebody wont let him(?)
he feels excluded. "walk with the broken peices" must be talking about something that happened that he's a little confused about and is trying to put together. the "fire" and the "flood" must be two different way's he could go and he doesn't know which path to choose. the crimson pools of blood could be someone who died or just a time when he was feeling really depressed.and the candle burning alone must be something guiding them to something else. i don't know, just my opinion
