Oh my lord... no one has anything to say about one of their first singles??? I first heard this song on MTVX (which was STUPIDLY removed!!! damn you MTV JAMS!!!) And with the song I also saw the video. I loved it from the beginning. The video looks like it's about this "parent" of some sort trying to protect it's "child" from all the things of the world. At one point it's stolen and given back, and the "parent" puts the "child" inside it's body, through a door to it's heart. Inside the "child" stays calm and content by the light of their heart, like no matter what happens, the "parent's" heart is beating to keep them alive, and will take all the bullets for them.
The song however says something totally different to me. I read somewhere that when he says "I'm made of peanuts not of shells" it means he's made of what's on the inside, not exactly what you see. Other than that I have no idea what the song is really about, just my perception baby.. heh
