Paradox - I totally agree, and I don't think its neccessarily because Jon believes in those things, but I think it is more interesting to listen to. It brings out so many emotions that aren't in music that most people listen to. He uses these themes to make the music more thought-provoking, not to send his evil message about the end of the earth. Most of us only listen to the "good" side of music, as opposed to the bad, about happiness, love, and just plain good times. He delivers the other elements out - hate, death, greed. Take scary movies for example. Most people like scary movies more than happy/romantic movies just because they have the darkness factor that many of us aren't familiar with. Like I said earlier, I don't think Jon neccessarily believes in these things, he just wants us to get away from the traditional songs and bring out some emotions that go along with it.
