This song is another great example of Kelly Jones' ability to tell a great story in 4 minutes! On the surface it's simply recounting a week's holiday wasted in the caravan because of the weather, however the chorus tells us a little more about it:

This couple don't seem to have the best or calmest of relationships, their moods obviously changing towards one another, but their caravan holiday is still something they look forward to in the summer, perhaps to get away from everything else in their lives.
