i think this song is self evident in meaning, but serves its purpose. i agree with pyroheart on the fact that this and refiner's fire go well together. this song is just one of those songs you sing with your eyes shut and really pray it. I like the line "tried and true." u are stronger with each persicution made towards you. to be "tried and true" suggests that ur beleifs were put on trial, and through those trials found to be the honest truth.
