Cover art for Atomic Garden lyrics by Bad Religion

Actually I think this song is about the threat of nuclear war. He he's "I'm glad I'm not Gorbachev" and his "garden with a fertile plot" is the Soviet arsenal of nuclear weapons and if just one goes of there'll be "a party that will never stop"

I'd never thought about it that way before. Especially the "party that will never stop" line. But now that you've mentioned it, it seems pretty obvious. Thanks :)

Not Valid

I think it's less about nuclear war, but more about the large stockpile of nuclear weapons within the Soviet Union, and the potential for nuclear proliferation following the collapse of Soviet Communism (song was written in '91-'92, immediately following this event).
