i kinda thought that he didnt want other people to think he was lazy and sloppy (i was thinking parents) but being on vacation sounds plausible, but still hes not trying to be listless, hes just missing his girl because she somewhere else. i dunno it reminded me of someone...so i guess i kinda gave it my own meaning...great song
