The first time I heard this song I was going through a rather rough stage in my life and even though it is one of the most depressing songs I had ever heard it helped me out a lot and there is not a day that goes by that I turn back and listen to this song as an affirmation of the human spirit. Its meaning has been described perfectly by everyone who has already posted by here but there is something that I would like to mention here and this goes for every single Stabbing Westward song I have ever heard. They are true artists and I applaud them even though they broke up recently they have so much great music and fans that I believe we shall be happy for years on what we have.
