Ain't No Right Lyrics

I am skin and bones,
I am pointy nose;
But it motherfuckin' makes me try.
Makes me try, and I'll tell you why...

There ain't no right!
Ain't no wrong now, ain't no right.
Ain't no wrong now, ain't no right.
Only pleasure and pain.

Motherfuckin' bad wind came,
Blew down my home.
Now the green grass grows.
Bad wind came,
Blew down my home.
Goddamn goodness knows!
Where the green grass grows there can't be wrong.
And goodness knows...

There ain't no right!
Ain't no wrong now, ain't no right.
Ain't no wrong now, ain't no right.
Only pleasure and pain.

Bumped my head,
I'm a battering ram.
Goddamn took the pain.
Cut myself, said "So what?"
Motherfuckin' took the pain.
Said "So what?"

I can't be wrong.
I thought so but there ain't no right!
Ain't no wrong now, ain't no right.
Only pleasure and pain.

I think it is about how there is no such thing as good or bad, and that the only thing that matters is if it feels good or looks good to you.

I also read an interview with Perry, where he was talking about how he tested himself by cutting himself 365 times with a razor blade to see if he could take it.

"Cut myself, said "So what?" Motherfuckin' took the pain. Said "So what?"

I guess he was trying to prove to himself that if he could overcome that, he could overcome anything.

At the beginning, I believe this is what it says:

My sex and my drugs and my rock n' roll On my brain and body My sex and my drugs and my rock n' roll Are the only things that keep me erect So get your fuckin' ???? out of my fuckin' face My sex and my drugs and my rock n' roll are my fuckin' own business I didn't ask ????? fuckin' ???????

What it says. Probably referencing the ancient philosopher Epicurus, who basically said the same thing (2500 years ago). The "sex and drugs and rock n' roll" part is a reference to the ian dury song of the same name.

Hedonism, in a nutshell.

"Ain't No Right" is a protest to the record companies wanting to drug test their artists. He believes that our duality of good and bad is wrong and it should be pleasure and pain instead.

jeez, why post a song without the complete lyrics?! the song ends with:

"Listen to me Daddio!"

My friend and I back in the 90s would have this song in our head while trying to max out skiing a mogul field. For those that don\'t ski that means going straight down the hill bouncing off stuff and trying to do tricks while you fly in the air.\n\nThere aint no right solution to that. Only pleasure and pain. \n\nFor anyone that doubts the pursuit, get your piss cup out of my face. :)
