Go To Hell Lyrics
For criminal acts and violence on the stage
For being a brat
Refusing to act your age
For all of the decent citizens you've enraged
You can go to Hell
For gambling and drinking alcohol constantly
For making us doubt our parents authority
For choosing to be a living obscenity
You can go to Hell
You're something that never should have happened
You even make your Grandma sick
You'd poison a blind man's dog and steal his cane
You'd gift wrap a leper
And mail him to your Aunt Jane
You'd even force-feed a diabetic a candy cane
You can go to Hell
You're something that never should have happened
You even make your Grandma sick
For criminal acts and violence on the stage
For being a brat
Refusing to act your age
For all of the decent citizens you've enraged
You can go to Hell
For being a brat
Refusing to act your age
For all of the decent citizens you've enraged
You can go to Hell
For gambling and drinking alcohol constantly
For making us doubt our parents authority
For choosing to be a living obscenity
You can go to Hell
You're something that never should have happened
You even make your Grandma sick
You'd poison a blind man's dog and steal his cane
You'd gift wrap a leper
And mail him to your Aunt Jane
You'd even force-feed a diabetic a candy cane
You can go to Hell
You're something that never should have happened
You even make your Grandma sick
For criminal acts and violence on the stage
For being a brat
Refusing to act your age
For all of the decent citizens you've enraged
You can go to Hell

I'm not really in agreement with previous posters, I feel this is Alice satirizing his critics.
That has been confirmed in interviews.

I think this song follows the same line as No More Mr. Nice Guy in the fact that it is satirizing his critics. The song is obviously about his stage performance and the critic’s reviews or even the uninformed public. For example in the first stanza: "For criminal acts and violence on the stage." could refer to the imagery from the songs I Love the Dead or Only Women Bleed. The next “For being a brat refusing to act your age.” Obviously I’m Eighteen. The next” For all of the decent citizens you’ve enraged.” –No More Mr. Nice Guy!
I think it is more of Alice’s perception of his public image but then again this is just my opinion.
How can this not have a comment? Go To Hell is one of the best albums Alice ever made! I love that if you listen to it in the order that the songs were originally on vinyl, it tells a complete story of going down into hell, and back out at the end of the album. Alice Rocks!
Friggin' awesome song, i love the guitar
LOVE IT could be about celebrities. the way they hold so much sway over the lives of the general public. or it could be about a girl i know XD heh, the lyrics certainly fit for her
I think its about the way people look at him because of his stage show.
i think it is about alice himself...just think about it...im eighteen...refusing to act ur age...and consider the name of the album it was on...that is just what i think...i could be completely wrong! i love alice and im surprised this has so few comments!
I think it has a christian meaning to it. warning people theyll go to hell if they dont repent.
I gather that it's reffering to a person who makes other people's lives a living hell. He is saying that these people don't deserve to be alive. Not neccessarily the religious meaning of hell, more or less just telling them to get screwed.
