This song had a lot of feeling in it.It was beautiful and overwhelming at the end.
this song remin i had to sing this reminds me of wen i sang it first time at an audition in a west end play. it woznt for phantom of the opera. it woz for joseph and the technicolour dreamcoat as the roll of the narrator. gess wot i got the part. 2 years later wen i woz 16 i played the part of christine and thats where i got mi boyyfriend jay hoo played the phantom.
I love this song, and have for a long time, ever since I first listened to the version with Sarah Brightman. I could be mistaken, but I think this is what's happening in this song. Christine still hasn't moved on since her father's passing, even though she knows she should. She longs for a more innocent time, when she could look to her father for strength and guidance. This is why it is so easy for The Phantom to manipulate her.
