It's very sad that no-one has commented on such a classic song. i suppose the meaning is clear enough - he has lost someone (seemingly in a war) and can't sleep because of the grief.

I've not heard very much Anathema but I'm making an effort too as if i remember correctly they are supporting HIM on there uk tour. They are rather good.
