You can have me
But I'll defend my child
By spring that child will die
Oh deli owowow etc.
Woo....
Moon... moon... moon...
I'm just so warm, Jennifer
and I'm coming over
to sa-bo-tage our distance
Moon will leave me on
Moon will guide me through, baby
Moon will guide me through
Moon will turn me on
I just don't care anymore
'Cause my chord is calling
It's me and truth
It's home
I'm at home with thruth alone
Moon will leave me on
Moon will guide us through
Moon will guide us through, baby
Moon will turn me on
The moon
It guides me on baby
There's absolutely no doubt
...
Me and truth
It's home
I'm at home with truth alone
But I'll defend my child
By spring that child will die
Woo....
and I'm coming over
to sa-bo-tage our distance
Moon will guide me through, baby
Moon will guide me through
Moon will turn me on
'Cause my chord is calling
It's me and truth
It's home
I'm at home with thruth alone
Moon will guide us through
Moon will guide us through, baby
Moon will turn me on
It guides me on baby
There's absolutely no doubt
...
Me and truth
It's home
I'm at home with truth alone

I've got no ideas on what it's about really, but I dont think it's about a werewolf simply because that's not Bjorks style and because of the title - Lilith Lilith is a goddess of the moon
Wow...what? You may have to know a thing or two about mythology to understand this one.
this sounds like it's about a werewolf.
I don't know why, but this song kinda reminds me of a Mecano song called "Hijo de la Luna"
actually, lilith is supposed to be the first lover of Adan and for some reason she left the Eden ( i cant remember what i read about it quite well) and she is also the god of the demons. there is a well-known painting that features her with a serpent surrounding her naked body.
and i read also somewhere(sorry for my lack of basis lol), that jennifer is the name of a girl that stole bjork's DJ boyfriend a couple of years ago.
sorry if there is any linguistical mistake, english is not my mother tongue.
The story of Lilith (that I remember) is that she was made from the clay, equal to Adam... but then got into trouble for pronouncing YHVH (God's unpronouncable name). She was cast out and her children were to die each day or year (I think it was 100 per day, or something else of biblical proportions).
Luna (the moon) is the symbol of divine femininity (or just feminine, depending). So, it's either about her getting revenge on Jennifer (as coldclay says) or possibly getting active with Jennifer.
The demon Litith was Adams first love and his equal but they got in some kind of arguement and she stole some of gods power and ran away. she bore hundreds of deamon children and (as adder said) hundreds of her children died each day so she stole other babies unless they had some kind of potection. Bjork might be comparing something that happened in her life to the story of Lilith.
