No One Dreams Anyways

i think it's about a guy who's got some pretty drastic ideas. something revolutionary, but the rest of the world doesn't want to agree with what he has to say. eventually this guy gives up, and the world is lost because they're beyond ignorant and anal about anything new. it reminds me of old philosophers. back to when everyone wanted to believe the earth was flat, when one man tried to go against that using a new theory, everyone got on his case for it.

same idea. almost.

i like this song. The sound is unbelievable, i get virtigo when i listen to this song on my headphones.

to me it is about having all these feelings and thoughts flying around in his head, but nobody will stick around long enough to hear them. and in the end he wonders if it's really worth it to live without someone to share his life with.

I think it's just about giving up on everything. "No one dreams anyway, so why should I?"

But this is one of Kill Hannah's best songs.

The piano bit at the end is absolutely beautiful...but what else would you expect for Mr. Mat?

to me this song has a maybe weird meaning(?). anyways, it could symbolize the state this world is in. no one thinks, everything is a turmoil...war and death everywhere. it is such a hopeless situation, that no one has got any dreams any more..we have given up all our hopes for a better world. "no one dreams anyway" and "what's there to wake up to" is evidence that the person in question is giving up..sort of letting go. "those eyelids help" - one cannot see too much destruction. it is killing us

i feel so dumb it just now hit me what this song is about i agree with killersthatglisten he wants to make a difference and change the world and he has this potential and all this stuff in his head, but all the everyday people just want to live normally and routinely before i just thought 'giving up hope' cause 'no one dreams anyway' and they kinda clicked but now.. it seems to mean a lot more to me
