This is my favorite unwound song. Its most likely a friend killing himself (close friend). The opening line is just so strait forward but but simply...and as many of us know.... so true. 'safe outside of time' stating death. It must have been hard to play this song.

This song has made me tear up many times. Absolutely beautiful sound and the outro is one of their very best. I love everything about this song.

Quite obvious that it's about suicide which rings very close to home.
