this is such an adorable song. this person is telling their significant other to pray for them, i think because without their significant other they feel alone and vulnerable - it's like he or she is saying you pray for me and i'll pray for you because we love each other and 'it's something that everybody needs' it starts so slow and ends really high, great piano in the background

i love this song!! i originally had it by the Shirelles, but when i saw that the mamas and the papas had a version i had to listen to it and, as expected, it was amazing. i think it's such a great song about long distance relationships (or any relationship really when there is time spent apart).

My girlfriend just sent me this song the other day. Holy moly...I feel loved :)

just gorgeous

The line 'The darkest hour is just before dawn' stands out for me somehow. Kind of comforting for anyone who's feeling down that things will get better.
