i am pretty sure this song is about cheating. dogs symbolize fidelity, which is where the name Fido derives from. And I think the line "i must have all your love" and "your leash is too long" are giveaways if the name of the dog isn't enough.
when he says shitzu it sounds like 'shit'. and when stephin says foxhounds it sounds like 'fuck'.
