I'll See You When We're Both Not So Emotional Lyrics
If you're so prone
To accidents
And misunderstandings
You may accidently
Misinterpret honesty
For selfishness
We're two human beings
Individually
With inherent
Interest in each other and
How we relate
If you're still prone
To accidents
And misunderstandings
You won't understand me
Or my motivation
For being alone
We're just two human beings
Individually
With inherent
Interest in each other and
How we relate
Considering everything,
Me leaving with regrets
Only makes sense
I'll see you when we're both not so emotional
To accidents
And misunderstandings
You may accidently
Misinterpret honesty
For selfishness
Individually
With inherent
Interest in each other and
How we relate
To accidents
And misunderstandings
You won't understand me
Or my motivation
For being alone
Individually
With inherent
Interest in each other and
How we relate
Me leaving with regrets
Only makes sense
I'll see you when we're both not so emotional

"If you're so prone to accidents and misunderstandings you may accidently misinterpret honesty for selfishness." It means that he is questioning if she will understand the fact he is being so honest when he says he just wants to be alone, but rather take it as if he's being selfish when he says he wants to go a seperate way. Thus the lines of "misinterpret honesty for selfishness." It's a song that revolves around nothing really more then simply misunderstanding, two people wanting two different things. "Inherent interest" they will both grow to realize and understand each others feelings. "I'll see you when we're both not so emotional" So for now he wants to be alone, because as often when you run with high emotions, you say the wrong things, so basically it's none other then taking time off to understand and realize how each other feels.
Wow...what a band...it's very sad that they had to break. This is the song that got me hooked. To me this song seems to be about two people who take everything that is said in the wrong ways. It seems to leave one saying "timing is everything".
yikes. i have a real connection to this song.
this song helped me understand what had to be going throughmy exes head when we broke up. spot on.
This is such a good song, but some of the words are difficult to decipher. I am glad it is up here.

i loved the song, now i read the lyrics and i appriciate it much more. i can see my own feelings in these words...apparently this was a one-time deal to begin with, just a little experiment to try something a little different for the members. it led to some amazing music, thanks guys.
