Good girl yes, bad girl no!
Good girl yes, bad girl no!
Good girl yes, bad girl no!
I don't want her to break my window

Hey, girl, you not very nice
You don't even know how to tie your own shoe-es
I said to you, "How to tie a shoe?"
You said you didn't know so you wear the velcro

I gave you fifty cents to go to the store
You supposed to spend twenty but you spend more
Said give me five, but you only gave me four
Because you said your thumb got chopp-ed in four

No it did not, you lie about everything!
Don't think I don't know about the sandwich
You made me say "Daimitt!" because you took it to Kansas
You said you ate it, but you're doing me damage!

Now it's off to sell a fifty foot spandage
Because I'm stressed off by your lady bandit
You look like a mikrowave yes I think so
And I don't want you to break my window!

Good girl yes, bad girl no!
Good girl yes, bad girl no!
Good girl yes, bad girl no!
I don't want her to break my window

Hey, lady! You're not very neat
You come in my appartment you don't washing your feet
You run into cans when you go on the stritt
And you told me that you one time did a math test

If you want to saix me you have to be goode at math
You're nott goode at math and you say "Look at that!"
A little kaid kicked you and I don't give a crap
Forcing with the president to cry and laugh

What if I did and my chicken had gas?
You kicked his face from here to Arkansas
Forgetting all my haim and you ruined my slice
New pair of sandals dropped to the trash!

You not dispute this football joke
Because you grabb-ed baseball and forgot to throw
Tried to make my little brother not to grow
And I don't want you to break my window!

Good girl yes, bad girl no!
Good girl yes, bad girl no!
Good girl yes, bad girl no!
I don't want her to break my window

And now... shladies expose your crowtche...
For the king of Africa, Danny Advantage

You need a girl that epitomize peace no peas
Not iminitize tees to the size of trees
Sells with her bad trees inbetween my knees
She H-E-A-D (Swallows, ladies)
And tastes my pralines
Who fears I don't scream (Hope I scream)
My regime in between it's where it's clean, it's less mean
If you's first it's clean
If you swing, let's see rehearsing
Girls bring first and they're clean so
Bad girls so divine hide behind the line
The woman tries mine while I improvise
So why? You can visualize something nice
Slide fly by nightride at night to see you laying in the sky
No (no!) No (no!)
Besides, you have been with too many guys
No (no!) No... Bad girl!

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.

American Town
