Two big babies met
On a winter's day.
They thought they'd get
All dressed up to play.
So they went outside,
Never to return.
They laugh, they hide.
Babies never learn.
But they cry and they cry.
Who said babies never die?
They cry.
Who said babies never die?
One pushed the other down
Into the salty snow
He looked around.
No one would ever know.
Bad things happen to
Babies all the time.
They laugh at who
Kisses then times nine.
But they cry and they cry.
Who said babies never die?
They cry.
Who said babies never die?
On a winter's day.
They thought they'd get
All dressed up to play.
Never to return.
They laugh, they hide.
Babies never learn.
Who said babies never die?
They cry.
Who said babies never die?
Into the salty snow
He looked around.
No one would ever know.
Babies all the time.
They laugh at who
Kisses then times nine.
Who said babies never die?
They cry.
Who said babies never die?

This is one of the saddest songs i have heard in a long time. I can't believe no one has commented on it yet... Anyone have any ideas on what it could be about?
I think the meaning of this song is fairly obvious... it's about two kids who go out playing in the snow, one pushes the other down and leaves him there, the poor kid dies in the snow. I'm not sure if this was based on something that actually happened or if it was just Melora's idea of one particularly tragic scene.
Seems to me it's about how children are not really innocent, which is so completely true...
i'm agree with fiercerose
very tragic and i love this song
I always assumed this was about the futility of war - how two countries/sides/people get 'all dressed up' to fight but they may as well be a couple of massive babies playing a game because it's all gonna end in tears and death no matter who wins!
Did anyone else get that from this song?
