This is the first track off of the new album "On A Wire" which is scheduled to be released on May 14, 2002. I got the lyrics by going to www.thegetupkids.net where they have an e-card of this song which I downloaded and listened to over and over to get the lyrics. So if they're a bit off, I'm sorry, forgive (and forget whatever was said, hehe).
i love this song and im very anxtious to see what else they have come up with on their new cd, if its half as good as this song the cd will be awesome
yeah this song is catchy hey? it kinda sounds like the side project [the new amsterdams has alot of acousticalstuff] but i like it alot. IM really excited for On A Wire.
I already love this song. I cannot wait until On A Wire comes out. I'll be in the store that day, I'll bet. Does anyone know where I can download any of the other songs off the album. I know there is a way, if someone ripped 'em already. I'm sneaky when it comes to my favorite bands. In any event, I can't wait until it comes out.

I love get up kids. This song is off their new album though and it sounds different them their stuff of the past. It's still good, but i guess every band has to evolve. I hope the whole cd is good. oh and i think this song is about waiting for someone to come around, like you've liked them for so long but they never noticed and now they finally like you but you're just like "it's kinda late"
don't get your hopes up for the new cd. it sucks. this song doesn't and neither does camp fire kansas. but the new cd is their worst
I agree sort of with vacantjoshs. The new album isn't nearly as good as any of tguk's older stuff. "Campfire Kansas" is my favorite song on the album. It is slowly growing on me, though. If this album had come out by any other band, I probably wouldn't have given it the opportunity.
