This song is so sappily sweet, that it's just so great. It's so meaningful and such. It's so simple yet sweet. Dude, I wish more songs could be like this....it's either one of the other...
I like this song allot. Everytime I hear it, though, it reminds me of what happened to Selena, and makes me kind of sad. But I like the song and that's what matters.

It's a cold february day, 2004, a freshman boy in high school watches the movie Selena in his Spanish 1 class. He loves it and loves the girl that sits in front of him. A week or so later he hears this song on the radio, and sees it as a sign that he should ask her out, and they've been together ever since.
Dreaming of you by selena, the best singer ever, describes how she dreams of her love one. When she says "corazón" she's calling him a nickname showing him all her love. The song also says that "I just wanna hold you close/But so far all I have a dreams of you" meaning that she can't see him because his not real, his just a dream and only that; a dream. This song has some spanish words, but those words give a lot of taste to the song. When the song ends in lowering her voice saying tonight, for me it means that supposely she fell asleep into a deep sleep with her corazón.
