Jammin' Lyrics
Ooh, yeah! All right!
Alright.
We're jammin'
(See)
I wanna jam it wid you
We're jammin', jammin',
And I hope you like jammin', too
We're jammin'
To think that jammin' was a thing of the past
We're jammin',
And I hope this jam is gonna last
We're jammin'
Jammin'
Jammin'
Jammin'

Now we're jammin' in the name of the Lord
We're jammin',

i don't trust people who don't absolutely love this song
i did some research and Bob Marley was a huge Rastafarian. Jammin is a term used for smoking ganja together. in Rastafarian religion a "Reasoning" is when a group of people sit and smoke ganja and discuss ethics. Jah is God which is also refered to as "I and I" (most commonly written "I&I") which is in the song: "I and I will see you through. Mount Zion is a mountain in Jeruselem, and from what i've researched, much of the Rastafarian religion is close to that of the Jewish religion. I'm not sure which one, but on one of Bob Marley's album covers there is a large Star of David. There is also a city called Mount Zion in Jamaica. "Jah sitteth on Mount Zion, and rules all Creation" and lastly, he says "Jam's about my pride..." which indicates that he Jam's for his religion or pride. Well that's my side of the story. hope it makes sense.
i like jammin'....peanut butter and jammin' lol . mr marley...i tip my hat to you....
ok...how have none of you said wat it's really about by now? it's obviously about sex. I thought this was pretty common knowledge among bob marley fans...but i guess not. please tell me you guys can see that
This song is about God. Just like most of bob marleys songs. He was a very religious guy. Now "we're jammin' in the name of the Lord" jaming in the name of God. "Jam's about my pride and truth I cannot hide" his pride is his faith in God the truth he cannot hide. If you think anything different you are wrong. It is not about Marijuana and it is not about sex.
This song i like the most, and it's for me a tribute to music and stuff...i think. It reminds me also at ma friend surfer Gene who also liked Bob Marley a lot. Because of that we started talking and hey, we became friends. I miss him pretty much, but this song 's just great and means more for me now
This song Ownz!!
bob marley is god.
Sellassie is God! Thinking that what is happening in our time is the next testament in the bible i see Bob Marley as John The Baptiser as he has brought so many to discover Rasta.

JAH RASTAFARI Love the Most I
JAH RASTAFARI Love the Most I
jammin' is a slang term for smoking Marjuana together.
aight lets jam
aight lets jam
this is just a note to baby smacks.....I think that Bob Marley would object to being refered to as god....
