The lyrics always seem like their taunting the listener with their own music: "it's the thing you'll never know it's the thing you'll never own"
And I always wondered about the contrast of loud rock and roll to the silky, quiet songs. Maybe they want both? Maybe its meant to be a parody of how girls are only meant to play pretty songs?
My favorite all-time SK song, it just flat-out rocks, especially live.

I'm with ya, amber. This is a pretty common theme in their music, the contrast between the music they play and their gender (i.e. Ballad of a Ladyman). Corin's voice is at it's best in this one. Really wish I'd gotten to see them live...
