well...actualy if you think about it...hes saying that he really doesnt care about nothing at all....soo....that would mean that he is careing about something...english class...double negitive equals a positive...i guess i did learn something in highschool

well, while you're right sonargirl, i really think that whichever member wrote this song was really just trying to say "i don't care about anything at all." using a double negative is a natural feature in languages. english is one of the few languages that has a rule stating if you say "i do not care about nothing," you're really saying "i care about something."

i mean, you could be right; but that wouldn't flow with the song at all. he's naming a whole lot of stuff he doesn't care about too much.

so i think it's just using colloquial speech. i mean, most people i know use double negatives without even realizing it--because naturally we think of adding another negative to stress the negation, not to cancel it out, math style.

how's that for sucking the fun out of a great song? haha.
